Southampton manager Hughes faces left-back exodus

Southampton manager Mark Hughes will be fighting tooth and nail to retain all three of his left-backs this summer.

The Daily Echo report Ryan Bertrand, Matt Targett and Sam McQueen are attracting interest from Premier League clubs.

It is believed Southampton would be open to letting one player go.

Bertrand, who missed out on England's World Cup squad, has been linked with Tottenham, Wolves and Newcastle United.

Targett would be Bertrand's natural successor, but he is wanted by Fulham, where he spent last season on loan and helped the Cottagers gain promotion to the Premier League.

Meanwhile, Bristol City are targeting McQueen.
