Southampton have lost Victor Wanyama for six weeks.
The Kenyan chipped a bone in his lower leg after colliding with Aston Villa goalkeeper Brad Guzan during Wednesday's 3-2 defeat.
Wanyama has been ruled out for four to six weeks.
