Southampton loanee Reed happy with Blackburn debut

Southampton loanee Harrison Reed is very happy with his first appearance for Blackburn Rovers.

The 23-year-old had an up and down game.

He provided the assist for Bradley Dack's goal, but was the one who fouled Jack Grealish before Conor Hourihane scored from the resulting free kick.

Reed even had a chance to win the game but spurned it. But he is pleased with his outing.

He said to the Lancashire Telegraph: "I was happy with the impact I made.

"The manager said to go on and win the ball back and play.

"It was a scrappy game I thought, quite difficult to get the ball down and play but I felt like I played on the front foot and improved the team. I'm looking forward to playing more matches."
