Southampton winger Eljero Elia is confident that Arsenal will triumph over Aston Villa in the FA Cup final.

Southampton will be following the Wembley final between the Gunners and Villa on Saturday with special interest as their place in the Europa League next season will depend on the outcome of the game.

If Arsenal triumph, the Saints will enter the third qualifying round of the Europa League but it Villa come out on top - they will snatch the spot in Europe's second tier competition from the Saints.

Elia is well aware of the permutations and has backed Arsenal to claim victory over the Villans.

"I think Arsenal are going to win," he told the Southampton Daily Echo. "With the quality what they have, they have to win the game. They can finish the season good."
