Southampton are listening to offers for Jordy Clasie.

The Sun says Saints have made midfielder Clasie available for transfer following the arrival of Mario Lemina.

The 26-year-old Dutch midfielder has been deemed surplus to requirements following the £13.5million signing from Juventus.

Clasie has been at the club since 2015 but has found life hard in England.

He has often struggled with the physical side of the game and now the Saints are ready to cut their losses on the 15-time capped international.

Newcastle United, who were pipped to his signing two years ago by the South Coast club, may be one option for the former Feyenoord star.
