Southampton legend Matt Le Tissier can see Nathaniel Clyne staying next season.

Le Tissier does not believe that the signing of Sporting CP right-back Cedric Soares guarantees the exit of Clyne this summer.

Le Tissier told TalkSPORT: "Southampton were already short in the right-back position, Cedric Soares' signing doesn't necessarily mean Nathaniel Clyne is on his way.

"Southampton haven't given up hope just yet. When Clyne missed matches last year, other people had to fill in."
