A quartet of Premier League clubs are showing interest in Steven Naismith who this week quit embattled Rangers.
The 25-year old Scotland international, who is still sidelined by a knee injury, has become disillusioned with the situation at Ibrox and will not switch his contract over to Charles Green's newco.
That has left Naismith as a free agent with English top flight newcomers Southampton joining the race for his signature alongside West Bromwich Albion, West Ham United and Everton according to SunSport.
Southampton are also believed to be showing interest in 'Gers skipper Steven Davis and young midfielder John Fleck as the Glasgow club prepare for a summer exodus.
