Southampton boss Mauricio Pochettino is ready to return to former club Espanyol to boost his defence.
The People says Pochettino is chasing Espanyol left-back Victor Alvarez.
Victor is a current Spain U19 international and could arrive at Southampton as a replacement for Chelsea target Luke Shaw.
