Southampton boss Mauricio Pochettino is keen on Valencia defender Victor Ruiz.

The Saints boss gave Spanish central defender Ruiz, 24, his Espanyol debut in 2009 before selling him to Napoli in 2011 to balance the books, says The Sun.

Ruiz has appeared in every Spain team outside of the full seniors.
