Celtic star Beram Kayal is a target for Southampton.
The Scottish Sun says Saints gaffer Nigel Adkins - who twice tried to sign Hoops striker Gary Hooper - has targeted the Israeli midfield enforcer.
He is ready to bid £5milllion to tempt Celts into selling Kayal and pair him with Davis, who he snapped up last month.
