Southampton fullback Luke Shaw is ignoring the World Cup hype swirling around him.
An impressive display this week against Denmark would heighten the full-back's chances of being on the plane to Brazil, although that is not something the teenager is thinking about right now.
"I have no eyes on the World Cup," Shaw said, speaking after Southampton's 3-0 defeat to Liverpool.
"I will just see what happens this week with the training. If I get a chance, I get a chance. I think it is just going to be a good experience and we'll see what happens at the end of the season."
"Stevie (Gerrard) just had a little word after just to congratulate me and say 'I will see you tomorrow'. For me, it is great for the England captain to say something like that."
