Southampton fullback Nathaniel Clyne has welcomed talk of an England call-up.
After selecting Rickie Lambert, Adam Lallana and Jay Rodriguez for his latest squad, Roy Hodgson also revealed that Clyne is "always in our thoughts".
"I'm happy with my performance," said Clyne. "I thought I defended well and got forward well to help out with the attacking players. I got an assist, which I'm pleased about.
"I'm just always looking to improve, and hopefully Roy saw my performance and he had something to think about."
