Southampton fullback Nathaniel Clyne is eager to move to Manchester United.

Louis van Gaal has the England right-back in his plans and Clyne while Chelsea are also interested in a summer swoop.

The Mirror says Clyne, however, is understood to prefer United and a link-up with his former Saints team-mate Luke Shaw.

The 24-year-old has made 31 appearances for the Saints this term, scoring twice.
