The FA will face a massive headache if Portsmouth go bust.

The Sun says the FA have made no contingency plans for Portsmouth going bust before their FA Cup quarter-final with Birmingham.

Pompey face a winding-up order over unpaid bills of £12m.

That is five days ahead of the Brum clash and an FA source said: "There is no precedent for this situation.

"Hopefully, they will survive. If they don't the FA Cup committee must decide whether to give Birmingham a bye or re-admit Southampton as the last side beaten by Portsmouth."
