Southampton eyeing QPR keeper Julio Cesar

Southampton are chasing QPR goalkeeper Julio Cesar.

The Mirror says the Saints will be without first choice Artur Boruc for at least another month because of a hand injury, and his veteran deputy Kelvin Davis will not be available until the New Year.

Despite being capped 76 times, 34-year-old Cesar has not played for QPR this season following relegation from the Premier League and is second choice behind Robert Green.

Southampton's only other goalkeeper is teenage American Cody Cropper, so Pochettino has been looking at experienced alternatives.
