Southampton and Everton failed with offers for Spartak Moscow striker Quincy Promes, it has been revealed.
The revelation was made by Sofiane Hanni, who signed for Spartak last month from Anderlecht.
He told Sport Foot: "A few weeks ago, Spartak refused a €30 million offer from Southampton for Quincy Promes, one of the best players in our team.
"I also heard Everton were interested."
A move to Everton could suit Promes, who is close to Liverpool midfielder Gini Wijnaldum.
