Aaron Martin has returned to Saints after his loan spell at Crystal Palace was cancelled by mutual consent, reports the Southern Daily Echo. The 23-year-old had been due to stay at the Championship outfit for the entire season to gain first team experience.

Martin had a run of five games in August but since the departure of Dougie Freedman and the arrival of new boss Ian Holloway has fallen out of favour.
