Southampton are moving to trump West Bromwich Albion for Manchester City winger Scott Sinclair.

The Sun says Southampton boss Mauricio Pochettino would be willing to pay £5.5million for the winger - or take him on loan for the whole of the season.

West Brom want Sinclair on loan but Saints believe they can lure him to St Mary's to link up with his brother Jake, 18, who is a trainee at the club.
