Paul Mitchell is reluctant to work with Franco Baldini at Tottenham, it is reported.
The Sunday Mirror says Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino is expecting his ally Paul Mitchell to move from Southampton to White Hart Lane as "head of recruitment analysis".
And it is believed that talent-spotter Mitchell will ask for assurances that he will not have to work under football director Baldini for any length of time if he is to take the role.
Spurs insiders say Baldini is increasingly likely to carry the can for the failure of most of the north Londoners' recruits in the aftermath of the world-record sale of Gareth Bale to Real Madrid.
