Southampton chasing Stoke defender Collins

Southampton are chasing Stoke City defender Danny Collins.

The Daily Star Sunday says Nigel Adkins is set to boost Southampton’s promotion challenge with the signing of Stoke defender Collins.

Saints boss Adkins has agreed a deal to take the Wales international to St Mary’s on loan for the rest of the season.

Adkins is keen to boost his promotion-chasing squad in the second half of the season.
