Southampton calm over transfer market developments

Southampton management are calm over their squad make-up.

The Daily Echo says after one low key friendly in the States, Saints are now back on home soil ready for a solid few days of training ahead of the tour to Holland.

But one of the top priorities will be pushing things on in the transfer market.

It is understood that Saints remain happy and relaxed about the squad they already have in place, and they believe they have seen the major departures they expected all wrapped up nice and quickly.

They have also recruited Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Nathan Redmond early in the pre-season campaign.

That is not going to be the end of the action though in terms of incomings, and with Claude Puel back in England it is set to accelerate things further.
