Southampton boss George Burley has assured fans there'll be no January move to Portsmouth for midfielder Andrew Surman.

Burley said: "I can assure all Southampton fans that Andrew won't be for sale. We are in a strong position financially - we only sold Kenwyne Jones because he wanted to go - but Andrew is perfectly happy here, as he showed by signing his new contract."
