Southampton boss re-iterates stance on Man Utd, Tottenham targets Mane and Wanyama

Ronald Koeman says none of his Southampton players will be sold in the January transfer window.

Two key Saints, Sadio Mane and Victor Wanyama, continue to be linked with winter exits from St Mary's but Koeman insists the pair, or any other Saints player, will not be leaving anytime soon.

Koeman also indicated that Southampton would not be conducting a busy winter transfer window apart from perhaps an attacking player to fill the void left by the injured Jay Rodriguez.

"We are looking, always we are looking at what we can do to make the squad stronger than we have," said Koeman.

"It's not about doing many changes in the team. If we need somebody I think it will be an offensive player and the rest I think we have good competition in our squad.

"We know that nobody is for sale."

Senegalese forward Mane has been heavily linked with Manchester United recently while Kenyan midfielder Wanyama is on the radar of both Tottenham, who were keen in the summer, and their North London rivals Arsenal.
