Southampton boss Mauricio Pochettino remains hopeful of signing Celtic midfielder Victor Wanyama.

The Argentine, however, doesn't want to chase the Kenyan through the press.

"It's not just Victor Wanyama that we're looking after," Pochettino told saintsfc.co.uk. "There are a couple more players that we are expecting to reach advanced negotiations with. We are very interested in Victor Wanyama and we will see how the situation unfolds in the future.

"I'm not going to speak any more about Wanyama, though. He's a player that we're after, and a player that we're talking about bringing to this club."
