Southampton manager Mauricio Pellegrino has talked about his respect for opposite number Claude Puel.
With a game against Puel's Leicester on the horizon, Pellegrino spoke about what it is like to have to face a club you managed in the past. Puel spent the 2016-2017 season with Southampton, before moving to Leicester.
"As a person, I like to have a good memory of my ex-players, to try to improve them as an individual," said Pellegrino.
"I respect the ex-manager, Claude is doing a good job because Leicester are getting a lot of points and they won important games in a row."
Pellegrino also acknowledged that Leicester have a great squad, with many of their players having won the Premier League recently.
He added: "Leicester won the league not too many years ago and most of them are the same players.
"We have to be careful because it's a good side but at home we have to continue our way and try to be a problem, to play good football and to attack and defend because it's an important game for us.
Southampton will be hoping to catch Leicester in the table with a win. It would also help the club's ambition of getting into the top half of the table.
