Southampton boss Mauricio Pellegrino is eager to get off to a winning start against Swansea City today.

Saints host Swansea City at St Mary's in their season opener, and the manager wants his side to make the most of their home advantage.

“Hopefully we will have a nice performance," started Pellegrino.

“I think we are well prepared. We do not have another possibility to win our first game – this is the only one.

“We have to make the most of it and to try and win this game and do our best in front of our own fans."
