Southampton boss Ronald Koeman refused to discuss Louis van Gaal's Manchester United after last night's defeat.
Koeman was more intent on analysing his side's downfall rather than United's failings.
"I don't give my opinion about them," he insisted.
"I like to see my team and I like to see my team playing football and in the way we started the season.
"If we lose or we win that's our way of playing because I believe in that way of playing even if we lost the last three games.
"City was the better team but we deserved more against Arsenal, we deserved much more tonight but we did some mistakes.
"If you give players like Van Persie those kind of mistakes he will punish you for sure. That was (Sergio) Aguero, and now Van Persie, and we didn't punish them about all the mistakes and that was the difference in my opinion."
