Southampton boss Ronald Koeman admits he could've taken charge of FC Twente.
Koeman had been out of work for 18 months and was considered by Twente ahead of taking the Feyenoord job.
"It was after my time with AZ, seeking a new challenge. If I had interest in the job? That's for sure. FC Twente at that time was a top club," he told Twente Sport.
"I heard that between me and Marco van Basten they would choose, but eventually the coach became Co Adriaanse.
"A few weeks later I signed for Feyenoord."
