Southampton boss Ronald Koeman insists Charlie Austin's arrival won't mean Graziano Pelle leaving.

Austin signed from QPR today.

Pelle – wanted by both Juventus and Fiorentina – is into the final 18 months of his current deal, when the Saints would usually begin discussing an extension.

But manager Ronald Koeman has revealed those negotiations will not take place at least until the summer.

He said: “Graziano's situation is different to other players because he will be 32 this year and that is difficult.

“It is too early to conclude about his future. Maybe that will happen in the summer, maybe after."
