Southampton boss Ronald Koeman has confirmed Feyenoord midfielder Tonny Vilhena is on his shopping list.

Koeman made an attempt for the youngster last January and remains a fan.

"When I look at the youth players at Southampton, there are few of his type. Unfortunately we did not succeed (getting a deal done)," Koeman told Voetbal International.

"Let me put it this way: the interest is still there, even if we rather think of next summer than this winter."

Vilhena, 20, is a Holland U21 international.
