Southampton boss Ronald Koeman admits he's changed Shane Long's role since his signing from Hull City.
Koeman has changed Long's role from striker alongside Nikica Jelavic at Hull to that of a supporting forward.
Koeman said: "I spoke to Shane before we signed him and the first option is to play in the number nine position as the target man which Graziano Pelle [plays]. But now he can play behind Pelle, which we did for the Capital One Cup game against Stoke, and he can play from the left and the right wing position. His understanding is much better."
