Southampton boss Mark Hughes is reluctant to lose Dusan Tadic this summer.

The Serbia midfielder is the subject of a €20m offer from Ajax.

It is understood this is a deal which the player and his agent are attracted to, rather than Saints looking to sell their most productive player from last season.

“Since I've come here I've been really impressed with the quality of his work, his demeanour, his personality around the group," Hughes said last season.

“I am pleased he is starting to have this impact for us because he deserved that because he's a great personality to have in this situation."
