Southampton boss Nigel Adkins has surprisingly been backed by "a flood of money" to become ChampionshipBlackpool's new manager.
Adkins current team Southampton reside rock bottom of the Premier League with just four points from their opening 10 games.
Their Chris Spicer, of Sky Bet, said he would be surprised if Adkins were to move north.
"I think it's classic case of a manager being on the brink of leaving one job and punters think he's going to another," he said.
"I'd have thought it would take at least a week for Adkins to sort out leaving Southampton and the Blackpool job will also be relatively low-paid."
