Southampton boss Nigel Adkins says he's always felt secure in his job.

Saints' victory at QPR has relieved the pressure on Adkins.

Asked if he thinks today's result helps to relief the pressure on his own position, Adkins said: "I am a manager in the Premier League.

"You guys (the media) are always going to keep the pressure on everybody."
