Southampton boss Nigel Adkins is chasing Celtic striker Garry Hooper.
The Scottish Sun says Premier League new boys Southampton are preparing a £7million close season move for the 24-goal hitman.
Saints gaffer and striker Hooper's old Scunthorpe mentor Adkins failed with three bids in January.
But he's ready to go back in for the 24-year-old after Saints sealed their promotion from the Championship at the weekend.
