Southampton boss Nigel Adkins is enjoying the challenge of battling against the Premier League drop.
Adkins is under huge pressure to turn results around at St Mary's after losing five successive games.
But the man who has won four promotions in six years as a manager insisted: "When you find yourself in our position down the bottom you are going to be in the spotlight.
"In a way I have really enjoyed this season and if you keep a smile on your face you might keep a smile on the players' faces.
"I feel fit, I feel fresh and I have got an energy about myself. I feel stimulated and I am looking forward to this game."
