Southampton have announced the release of four senior players.

Saints have cut loose Cuco Martina, Martin Caceres, Lloyd Isgrove and teenager Harley Willard at the end of their contracts.

The most significant departure is Martina, who made 36 appearances for Saints during a two-season stay at St Mary's.

A statement said: "Southampton Football Club has confirmed the list of professional players who have been released this summer.

"Cuco Martina, Lloyd Isgrove and Harley Willard have all left the club, while Martín Cáceres also departs at the end of his short-term deal.

"The club wishes to thank each player for their hard work and service during their time with Southampton, and we wish all of them the very best for the future."
