Championship league leaders Southampton have reportedly agreed a fee for Sanfrecce Hiroshima's Tadanari Lee.
The 26-year old Japanese striker has emerged as a target for the Saints who have made a formal offer for his services with a deal looking increasingly likely.
However, in order to capture the man who scored the winning goal against Australia in the Asian Cup final in Qatar in January, Southampton will need to obtain a work permit for Lee before a move can be sanctioned.
