Celtic defender Cha Du-ri has been ruled out for up to a month with an ankle injury.
The South Korea international picked up the problem after returning from national team duty and it was initially feared that he could be out for the long-term.
But a statement on the club's official website says the 31-year old should only miss about a month which will include the Old Firm clash with Rangers on September 18.
"The defender picked up an ankle injury at training on his return from the Asia Cup," read the statement.
"But after seeking further opinion in relation to Cha's injury, the club is pleased to report he will be out of action for no more than up to one month."
