Ji Dong-Won opened his goal scoring account for Sunderland in the 2-1 loss against Chelsea. Despite the defeat, the Black Cats summer signing was pleased to get his first goal for the Wearsiders after his move from Chunnam Dragons.
He told the club's official website: "(Sebastian) Larsson crossed the ball and (Nicklas) Bendtner flicked - I shot and it went to the back of the net, I think it was fortunate. "
"This goal gives me confidence that I can score in the Premier League.
"I am happy to score but I wish we (the team) had got some points from the match."
