South Korean ace Son at it again for Bayer Leverkusen

Son Heung-min was the star of the show once again as Bayer Leverkusen defeated FC Nurnberg 3-0 at the BayArena on the weekend.

The South Korean international netted a brace as Sami Hyypia's men recorded their third straight Bundesliga win which came on the back of their disappointing 5-0 Champions League loss to Manchester United last week.

Son opened the scoring for Bayer in the 36th minute when he met a nicely placed left-sided cross from Gonzalo Castro to dink home over Nurnberg keeper Raphael Schafer before Stefan Kiessling added a second early in the second half after a neat backheel from Jans Hegeler.

Former Hamburg ace Son then made it 3-0 in the 76th minute when he finished across his body on his left foot after another pass from Castro before he was replaced by Australian winger Robbie Kruse with just over 10 minutes remaining.

Son has now scored six goals in 11 league appearances - five of them being in his past three - for a total of eight in all competitions.
