South Korean boss Hong Myung-bo will travel to Europe later this week to watch national team players with their respective clubs.

Hong has decided to bring together a squad of players from the K-League and Japan's J.League for Wednesday's friendly with Peru but will then fly to Europe to cast an eye over some players who are in the running for his 2014 World Cup squad.

Of interest to the Taeguk Warriors manager will be Bayer Leverkusen striker Son Heung-min, VfL Wolfsburg's Koo Ja-cheol, Mainz full-back Park Joo-ho, Cardiff City midfielder Kim Bo-kyung, Swansea City's Ki Sung-yueng, Arsenal's Park Chu-young and Sunderland's Ji Dong-won.

Bolton's Lee Chung-yong and QPR's Yun Suk-young, of the English Championship, will also be monitored by Hong.
