South Korea has become the fourth Asian nation to launch a bid for either the 2018 or 2022 World Cups. The Korea Football Association announced its decision to run for the tournament for a second time after it hosted the 2002 World Cup with Japan.
"South Korea has notified FIFA of its intention to host the 2018 or 2022 World Cup finals," the Korea FA said in a statement.
