It is not much more than a year since the Manchester United star underwent surgery and whilst the player's condition is not perfect though he should be fit to play on Saturday.
"He is not feeling pain, but the player says he is experiencing discomfort, so we are putting his knee under light rehab treatment," South Korea's team doctor Shin Dong-eun said.
"It's not that he is injured again, but the surgically repaired knee seems to be reacting to fatigue," the doctor said.
"I think he will be OK after a day's rest."
Shin also added that Park had mild arthritis in the knee.
Park played the full 90 minutes last weekend as Korea won 1-0 in Jordan to stay top of Group Three.
