Cable television operator Cable Thai Holdings (CTH) has acquired the live audio visual broadcast rights to the Premier League in Thailand, Cambodia and Laos for the next three years, beginning with the 2013/14 English soccer season, reports SportsPro. Under terms of the agreement, financial details of which were not released, CTH will hold the live broadcast rights to all of the soccer league's 380 games per season until the end of the 2015/16 Premier League.
"We are extremely pleased to have a new partner in Cable Thai Holdings in Thailand, Cambodia and Laos," said Premier League chief executive Richard Scudamore.
"CTH has an excellent reputation as a high quality broadcaster and we look forward to working with them as they deliver a premium offering that will showcase the Barclays Premier League to our fans in all three countries."
