South coach confident of victory in Korea derby

South Korea manager Huh Jung-moo is confident heading into Wednesday night's World Cup qualifier against North Korea. His team is sitting second in their group table with eight points from four matches whilst their opponents are top with ten points from five matches.

Despite that, Huh is confident South Korea can get a win at the Seoul World Cup Stadium.

"I know North Korea is performing good nowadays,'' Huh Jung-moo said in a press conference in Seoul.

"But, we are prepared for the match. Our players are in good condition. We will win,'' the 54-year-old added confidently.

Opposite number Kim Jong-hun wasn't as bashful in his appraisal of his team's chances.

"We know that to earn three points is so important in the qualifier,'' Kim said.

"We will do our best until the whistle.''
