New York Red Bull sources have told the NY Post that the club is currently seeking Robin Fraser to be Mike Petke's assistant coach.

The club recently appointed Petke as replacement for Hans Backe, who was sacked late last year, and now they have entered talks with former Chivas USA head coach Fraser.

Sources also suggested that previous coaching target, Paulo Sousa, was not given the job as he was unable to obtain a permit to work in the USA.
