The Viola are joint leaders with Inter Milan.

Viola coach Paulo Sousa said: “This is a situation we are continuing to work on, even if every opponent provides different difficulties to deal with.

“I have always said we can compete with anyone and that means we can compete for the Scudetto. We must always be competitive and I believe our Scudetto must be continually seeking a winning mentality.

“In order to go all the way, we need to always have the idea of dominating games. If we do this, we can compete to the end."
