Graeme Souness had a say in Amdy Faye's move to Rangers yesterday.

Faye signed for Rangers on a season-long loan after being ordered to join them by his old Newcastle boss Souness.

Midfielder Faye, who leaves Charlton for Ibrox, revealed: "He said they were his club and 'I want you to sign for them'."

Faye also had options to join Birmingham or Portsmouth.
