Liverpool legend Graeme Souness has questioned the quality of Tottenham striker Vincent Janssen.
Janssen scored a consolation goal from the penalty spot as Mauricio Pochettino's side lost 2-1 to Liverpool in the fourth round of the EFL Cup.
"Listen it's a hard world, football at the highest level… for me, he just doesn't have any sharpness about his feet that will get him goals in the goalmouth, crammed with defenders who are quick," Souness told Sky Sports.
"You need to have quick thought and transfer that message from your head to your feet and I don't think that's going quick enough.
"I don't think he's got quick feet, and that will stop him getting goals at this level I think."
